We are Licensed Child Care Providers specializing in Early Childhood Development and Education for young children, here in San Jose, Ca. Our staff is dedicated to the educational development and nourishment of all our Preschool attendees. Here at Genesis Preschool, your child(s) education and well being is our primary concern.

Since 1994, we have been servicing families from all walks of life. We take pride in providing a quality, developmentally appropriate program. Genesis Preschool, A SMART START PROGRAM FOR SAN JOSE

Genesis Preschool & Education for young children in San Jose has been a part of San Jose's SMART START PROGRAM since 2005.

The need for quality early childhood development programs far out strips the supply. Smart Start San Jose programs are located in areas identified as in need of early childhood development programs. All programs must meet California Health & Safety Standards for Child Care Programs. In addition, programs must incorporate Smart Start San Jose Program Quality Standards (PQS) and Genesis Preschool meets those standards. Programs are operated by public or private providers through early child development centers, Head Start programs, State Preschools, business owners, & family home child care providers.

The Mayor and City Council of San Jose established the Early Care and Education Initiative to improve the quality of educational experiences for young children. The result of this initiative was Smart Start San Jose --an educational collaboration between schools, parents, early childhood development professionals, businesses, community-based organizations, and the City of San Jose. Using and building on these community resources, Smart Start San Jose supports students in school, social, and--ultimately--lifelong success.

To support that vision, the program is working to increase access to quality, affordable early childhood care and education for all families and children in San Jose, and Genesis Preschool is doing its part in providing early childhood development and preschool education.
